I deal with an
average of 8-10 affiliates per day asking about improving their ratios
and what they can do to squeeze that extra couple sales out of their
traffic.
I can't speak for other companies, only
Evil Genius Cash.
We offer the following tools and this is how to use those tools to
improve your ratios (for illustrative purposes, I'll be referring to our
site BustyAmateurBoobs.com:
Campaign Manager: A campaign manager
is a great way of tracking your traffic and keeping track of where your
sales are coming from. Let's say you just bought a spot on The Hun and
want to track how that add did. You would login to your EvilGeniusCash
account, and click on Linking Codes.
You'll see Step 1: Choose Your Campaign... click on the link the says
"click here to Create a New Campaign" .
Name your campaign (in this example): The Hun Listing (maybe add a date
or specify a particular listing if you have multiple listings).
Click the Create And Return button and you'll be returned to the Linking
Codes page. Now, click on the dropdown menu and you'll see the campaign
you just created. Click Next Step and your link dropdown menu will
appear. From there grab you code. With Evil Genius Cash, you can select
the trial or no-trial options and which site you are promoting (even
Evil Genius Cash itself, as we do pay 10% on webmaster referrals).
The campaign manager will then keep track of that specific campaign. To
check how specific campaigns are doing, you go to your main stats page
and click on "Campaign" under Break Down By...
I use this for every single link. Example, I have two links on a page,
I'll create a Link #1 Campaign for the first link and a link #1 campaign
for the second. This will give you a better idea of which linked worked
best.
You can also see which specific page gave your the sale in your stats
and now with your campaign manager, can break it down by specific link.
This can be very helpful if you are, for example, promoting Busty
Amateur Boobs on a typical linklist-type free site. You may want to see
which specific banner, text link, etc. produced the best results. Now,
you can fine tune future sites based on this information.
Model Specific Advertising Materials:
Let's say you want to promote Busty Amateur Boobs. Each of our models
from that site have their own page on the tour. For a general link, you
can link straight to the entrance page. However, to personalize the
surfer's journey a little more, you may want to promote a specific girl,
like
Jessica (one of our most popular models) and let's say you're going
to promote her on a TGP gallery. You'll login to your EGC account, grab
the free promotional content for Jessica and build your gallery. Go to
your Campaign Manager and create a new campaign for this gallery. After
you've gotten your link code for that campaign, simply add ?g=jessica to
the end of your link code and when the surfer clicks the link, they will
now be sent to Jessica's page on the tour. This gives the surfer a level
of continuity and he won't have to search the full tour area for this
model that made him click in the first place.
All of our free hosted galleries already contain these model specific
links.
We also offer model-specific banners. So, say there is a banner with
Faith on it, you can link that banner specifically to
Faith's page on the tour. Now the face (or tits) that made that
surfer click will greet him when he hits the tour page so he doesn't
have to search out the entire tour for her. To really enhance it, grab
some of Faith's promo content, build a gallery around Faith and grab a
banner featuring her.

Our full page and half page ads often contain a specific model or
multiple models. Not sure who's who on the ad? Hit me up and I'll be
more than happy to assist you.
I'm currently working on some table ads that'll feature multiple girls
with different links to each girls' page on the tour.
Don't be afraid to create your own ads as well. While we can provide you
with all of these tools, we don't know your site's surfers as well as
you do.
Text Links: A good textlink can
generally outpull a banner 2 to 1 or sometimes even better, Can't think
of a good textlink? We offer some samples for you. Simply login to your
account, go to Marketing Tools and click on the Download Free Content
button. You'll be taken to the Promotional Content page. Under each
model is a link "descriptions" Click on that and you'll be given some
sample textlinks.
Want to create your own? Get creative and point out the large, natural
breasts of the girls. Explain they are not only the girl next door, but
the girl who bags your groceries and has huge tits. Large breast
fetishists just love big tits and don't care if they are on the same
body as a big stomach and/or big ass. They are all about the size and
the soft curves. Our busty site doesn't contain much hardcore. It's all
about girls with big tits enjoying and playing with their massive boobs.
So, make sure the text links are accurate and reflect that. If you have
any questions about a good text link for a specific model, feel free to
hit me up and I'll assist in any way possible.
This also goes for any program you are promoting. Use the tools that are
provided. If you can't find what you need, hit up your affiliate
manager/rep. That's what they get paid for. Most are on a commission, so
it's in their best interest to make sure you're getting the most from
your traffic. Don't be afraid to create your own ad tools if you don't
see what you want/need (of course always get permission from the program
FIRST ;-))
I hope this helps as I've gone through it quite a few times with
affiliates and felt this could be of help to those who haven't hit me up
for advice or never even thought about some of these ways to improve
ratios and make yourselves (and us of course ;-)) more money.
